In the 2nd session you’ll cast your wax model in sterling, or *gold to produce a unique cast piece. (*gold cost is additional)   (class change, Inquire)

After taking this class you’ll understand the casting process and the equipment used. The process is explained so you’ll be able to create wax models, assemble a casting setup yourself or use an outside service if you choose not to invest in your own equipment. Learning this traditional process will add important new options to your jewelry making.

Lost wax casting is the foundation of jewelry production today. Far more jewelry is produced by this method than by any other means. Whether you assemble your own casting setup or simply create your wax models and contract out the casting; learning the traditional technique of “Lost Wax Casting” will empower your jewelry making skills!
